Steve,
I ran across the webpage http://www.wintercamp.com/rfrnc/theguide/u.html which contains a unit of measure called a "jimpop". Where in the world did that ever come from?

Way back in '82, we had a guy named Jim Warren serve as our head chef. The one thing that was most remarkable about his menu was just how much soda was on it. We have a picture somewhere of an 8' picnic table completely covered in glass bottles of pop, a pretty amazing amount of pop for 20 people to go through in 4 days. Hence, our really large unit of volume, the jimpop.

Thanks for the info. For what it's worth, Jim Pop Productions (somewhere in California) is named after the father of a guy named John Warren. "Jim Pop" was John's nickname for his father. Do you have any idea if your Jim Warren could be John's father?

I don't think so. Our Jim Warren is only about 35 or so and a life-long Michigander as far as i know.
